Portfolios, teaching, techniques
These three fields make up the structure of FINE ART PHOTO. As announced in the last number, this issue again contains three editorial contributions that I hope you will find interesting, informative and stimulating. In one of them I am pleased to present work with a historic camera, a replica of a Voigtländer metal camera originally made in 1841, which first had to be adapted to the demands of modern photography with considerable effort. But no doubt about it, occupying yourself so closely with an oldtime camera is fun, even if this means taking a lot of trouble. The exceptional results definitely make it worthwhile.
I also get great pleasure and reward from involvement in staged photographic scenes, where the aim and the activity itself are equally fascinating. Here the photographer pulls all the strings himself and can control each factor individually.
I hope that this combination of photos and information is a successful mix once again.
